So much more than a buzz word, sustainability is at the core of everything we do.
To us, sustainability means responsible management of our resource base to ensure a high quality of life for all future generations. Our goal is to build a closed-loop food system that is capable of sustaining itself, and the people it supports, indefinitely. This requires a fundamental shift in thinking, one that takes its cues from nature and focuses on building highly connected and adaptable decentralized networks. Nature does not make waste, so we don't either.
When people come together, amazing things happen.
First and foremost, Compost Pedallers exist to enrich the communities that we serve and help them grow. We understand that a connected community is a healthy community, and are always looking for ways to better connect our members to each other, their food, and the places they live. Think we're just growing soil? Think again.
We believe in the power of simple solutions.
We all want to do the right thing, but in an increasingly complex world, it's getting harder to stick to our values. Wouldn't it be great if the "right thing" was also the easiest thing? We think so. That's why we are committed to simplifying sustainability for our members.
Composting is the act of creating life out of the absence of life.
We pair this inherently creative process with a commitment to constantly challenging the status quo. Creativity also means infusing our personality into everything we do to keep things colorful for everyone. Who says saving the world can't be fun?
